Today 5 Labour party members were given the right to vote in the up-coming leadership election.
In my opinion this is a ridiculous thing for the courts to rule on. The Labour party should be able to decide on its own terms and conditions, not the court.
This type of ruling will encourage short-term memberships to the party just so that people can vote in the leadership elections. These people, if not already members show that they do not have a fully fledged allegiance to the party and so should not get the right to vote in the election.
This will likely lead to Corbyn being allowed to continue his pathetic leadership of the party.
